CRIBS Global visit with FCDO in Lusaka

Members of CRIBS Global visited the British High Commission in Lusaka, Zambia  recently and met with Dr Sarah Goldsmith, Regional Health Adviser, Africa Programmes and Expertise Department (APEX).

The FCDO are funding an exciting new programme (CRADLE SMART) (Community empoweRment Approaches to Develop Local, Early Sustainable MAteRnity care with co-developed Technology), designed to strengthen early, community-centred maternal and perinatal care.

The team discussed their previous and ongoing work in Zambia, including the CRADLE 3 and 4 projects, together with the ongoing PAPAGAIO Study.

Several new opportunities with UK partners were discussed, along with the CRADLE B project also launched at this time.
